The Story of Florentines Cakes

I'm Christa,  Pastry Chef and Owner of Florentines Cakes. I have always had a passion for baking since a young child , from helping with the holiday baking and according to my mother , the best gourmet mud pies in the garden adorned with berries and leaves.

After graduating from Silwood, School of Cookery in 2003, I opened Florentines Coffee Shop in Kenilworth in 2005 with my partners Janet and Felicity at age 22 after working in the Pastry Kitchen of a London hotel.

Florentines Cakes was started in 2013 when I branched out on my own to specialize in wedding and celebration cakes and love that I get to create beautiful cakes and goodies every day. 

I pride myself on my creations, using quality ingredients and making everything from scratch is important.
